Chairmen of the Boards; Bobcats Rebound Their Way to a Victory over Alfred State

GREENSBURG – Matthew Marinchak recorded his first double-double of the season with 22 points and ten rebounds. That along with his mid-range game led the Bobcats to a 67-52 win over Alfred State in the AMCC Game of the Week. Trent Rozich, James Evans-Mcquay and Ryan Greggerson added double-digits points themselves while Tyler Watkins also had a strong game for the Bobcats.
 
The key to the game was Pitt-Greensburg holding Alfred State Leading scorer Paris Jamison to just seven points after getting in foul trouble early in the game. The Bobcats also did a good job on the other player of the Pioneer's dynamic duo in Cady Schneider. He played 40 minutes, and the Bobcats held him to just six field goals. The Bobcats were able to clean up the boards as five players recorded five or more rebounds.
 
Pitt-Greensburg will stay home in Chambers Hall this week as they welcome the Celtics of Carlow into the Den. The game will be Wednesday and tip off will be at 7:00 PM.
