GREENSBURG - The Pitt-Greensburg Cross Country Team hosted its first home meet since 2013 at the Westmoreland County Fairgrounds on Saturday. Four full teas competed as well as individuals from seven other teams to make up the field. The Bobcats finished in third place with a team score of 74.

Dylan Acklerman continued his momentum from an individual win a week ago at Mount Aloysius. Ackerman made the course look easy and finished the 8k in 30:56.8. Senior Peyton Hause and sophomore David Broikaw also had strong races, finishing No. 16 and No. 21 respectively. Josh Mentzer and Prince Singh also competed for the Bobcats.

Pitt-Greensburg will travel to Gettysburg in two weeks to compete in their finalk tune up before the AMCC meet comes back to the fairgrounds.
