The Bobcat Cross Country team got off to a strong start to their 2025 season, racing in the Wolfpack Invitational hosted by Westmoreland County Community CollegeĀ
Trinity Lockwood-Morris was the top UPG finisher on the women's side, coming in with a time of 22.39, good for 6th place overall. This shaved off 3 minutes off her time in the same race last season and also topped her PR by a minute. Laura Vittone also recorded a PR time, knocking off 2 minutes. Ā
On the men's side, Tyshawn Brownfield made the podium with an 8th place finish, beating his PR by a minute. David BrokawĀ and William Vaughn also finished in the top 20, placing 15th and 18th respectively. Ā
Head Coach Jeremy Eshleman was pleased with his team. "It was a great start to the season and we performed well," says Eshlemen. "We had 4 runners beat their PRs in today's race which is a compliment to their hard work."Ā
Cross Country hits the course again next Friday in a tri-match featuring AMCC conference opponents LaRoche and Carlow. Ā
