Last-Second Free Throws Lead Carlow Over Men's Basketball

GREENSBURG, PA – The Bobcats carried a 70-68 lead with the final seconds ticking down on the clock. Carlow's Byron Gaskin had a last-second three-pointer, only to be fouled. Gaskin hit three free throws with .5 seconds on the clock to lift the Celtics over Pitt-Greensburg inside Chambers Hall.
 
Trent Rozich led the Bobcats with 17 points and eight rebounds, while Michael Bigley, Jackson Byer, and Ryan Greggerson had good games offensively. Despite getting into early foul trouble, junior Joziah Wyatt-Taylor was a force in the post, scoring nine points in just 13 minutes. The Bobcats shot over 92 percent from the free-throw line, missing just one of the 14 taken. The Bobcats held the Celtics to four fast break points and six second-chance points. It was a close game, with the score tied ten times and the lead changing hands eight times.
 
The Bobcats will travel to Allegheny on Friday to take on the Gators in a non-conference clash. Tip-off will be at 1 p.m.
