Baseball Falls to Keystone

AUBURNDALE, Fla. – The offensive struggles continued for the Pitt-Greensburg baseball team for a second consecutive day as the Giants of Keystone struck out 14 Bobcats over nine innings on way to a 9-0 win.

Sophomore Ben Aftanas started on the mound for the Bobcats and settled in to pitch five innings after the Giants were able to plate five runs in the bottom of the first inning. Sophomores Neo Miller and James Domer had two of the three Bobcat hits while freshman Zachary Tyson kept his bat hot as he went 1-for-3 for Pitt-Greensburg.

The Bobcats will finish their spring trip tomorrow as they will take on Rutgers-Newark for an early morning match up in Davenport. First pitch will be at 9:00 AM.
