Volleyball Drops Two Matches in Ohio

WOOSTER, Ohio – The Pitt-Greensburg Volleyball team competed in two matches on Friday, dropping the first 3-0 to Wooster and 3-1 to Oberlin.
 
Sophomore Madison Friess had eight kills in each match and a total of 20 digs. Freshman Abigail Smulik had a career-high five aces against Oberlin in a match that saw the Bobcats take set one and then force set four to go to 28 points before falling. The Bobcat had their best defensive match of the season against Oberlin. Abigail Miller and Mia Stohon had three blocks each while Friess also had two. Junior Grace Bradley had the day-high in assist with 14 against Wooster while Alanna Meloy had 11 digs.
 
The Bobcats will play the Jackets of Waynesburg at 12:30 on Saturday in Ohio.
