Men's Basketball Defeats La Roche in Chambers Hall Thriller

GREENSBURG, PA – The win streak was extended to six for the Pitt-Greensburg men's basketball team as the Bobcats took down La Roche inside Chambers Hall. Junior Jackson Byer led the Bobcats with 17 points, seven rebounds, and two steals. Sophomore Trent Rozich also had seven rebounds with 16 points, and junior Joziah Wyatt-Taylor rounded out the Bobcats in double figures with 14 points.
 
The Bobcats shot an even 40 percent from the flood and 14 for 19 from the free-throw line. Twenty-one of Pitt-Greensburg's 68 points came in transition. The RedHawks shot 34 percent from the floor with just eight points coming in the fast break. La Roche brought down 13 offensive rebounds but scored just six second-chance points. Overall, the LRU out rebounded Pitt-Greensburg 44-27.
 
The Bobcats will take on the AMCC's top team in the standing this Saturday in Bradford, with the Panthers waiting for an all-Pitt showdown. The tip-off will be at 2 pm.
