Men's Basketball Suffers First Loss of 2025 in Road AMCC Clash

BRADFORD, PA—After the Panthers of Pitt-Bradford scored a high 135 points, the Bobcat men's basketball team held Bradford to 98 points. Pitt-Greensburg was the second team to hold the Panthers under the century mark in conference play. However, the 98 points were enough for the Panthers to come out on top, as Bradford won the battle of the regional campuses 98-93.
 
Junior Matthew Marinchak scored a team-high 24 points, while Joziah Wyatt-Taylor recorded a career-high 19 points and 14 rebounds. Trent Rozich and Michael Bigley also scored in double-figures, with Roizch following Wyatt-Taylor with an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double. Bigley led the team with eight of the Bobcat's 17 assists.
 
The Panthers forced Pitt-Greensburg into 26 turnovers, and they scored 32 points off those turnovers. The Panthers recorded 19 steals. Bradford also shot 41 free throws, making 34 of them. Overall, there were 70 free-throw shots in the game.
 
The Bobcats will travel to Cresson this Wednesday to take on the Mounties of Mount Aloysius. Tip-off will be at 7 p.m.
