Men's Basketball Back to Winning Ways; Defeat Mounties

CRESSON, PA – The Bobcat Men's Basketball Team returned to its winning ways, making it seven in the team's last eight games as Pitt-Greensburg scored 40-plus points in both periods, defeating Mount Aloysius in the process 85-81.
 
The Bobcats were paced by Joziah Wyatt-Taylor, who had yet another career game with 21 points, ten rebounds, and three blocks. Sophomore Trent Rozich also had a double-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds, three steals, and two assists. Junior Matthew Marinchak had ten points himself. Last but not least came a career-high in minutes and points for freshman Ryan Kull. Kull scored ten points and was a facilitator with a team-high five assists over 17 minutes.
 
The Bobcats' reserves made solid contributions, scoring 29 points, 16 more than the Mounties' bench players. Pitt-Greensburg went to the free-throw line 28 times and hit 18 while also shooting 39 percent from behind the arc.
 
The Bobcats will return to Chambers Hall on Saturday, January 25, as the Behrend Lions come to town. Tip-off will be at 2 p.m.
