Men's Basketball Defeats Alfred State with Offensive Explosion

GREENSBURG, PA—Two 40-plus-point halves led the Pitt-Greensburg men's basketball team to its first AMCC victory of the season, as they dropped the Pioneers of Alfred State 92-56. Michael Bigley and Joziah Wyatt-Taylor led the Bobcats with 18 points and 15 points, respectively, but there were many other contributors, as the Bobcats' reserves scored a season-high 35 points.
 
Pitt-Greensburg shot the lights out of the gym as they shot 44 percent from behind the arc and 54 percent from the floor. The Bobcats turned the ball over just seven times and scored 19 points off 17 Alfred State turnovers. Ryan Greggerson led the bench, scoring with ten points and six boards. The Bobcat reserves went 5-for-9 from behind the arc, with senior Drew Tapscott hitting two.
 
The Bobcats will host Hilbert on Wednesday in a matinee inside Chambers Hall. Tip-off will be at 2 p.m.
