The Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats (1-8, 1-2 AMCC) return home to face the Hood College Blazers (2-6, 0-0 MAC) in a non-conference matchup on Saturday afternoon.

The Bobcats enter the contest looking to bounce back from a 71-51 road loss to Allegheny on Monday. Autumn Matthews led UPG in that game with 17 points, while Jocelyn Bielak and Abby Henise chipped in 10 apiece. Matthews has been the offensive catalyst this season, averaging 12.7 points per game. She has been especially dangerous from long range lately, connecting on 60% of her three-point attempts over the past three games.

Hood comes into Chambers Hall on a five-game skid, most recently falling 62-44 to McDaniel. In that outing, Shylah Taylor paced the Blazers with 12 points, and Maya Gordon added 10. Gordon leads Hood on the season with 11.5 points per game, closely followed by Jaylah Putham at 11.4 points per game.

This will be just the second meeting between the programs in recent history. The last matchup came in 2006 at the Lebanon Valley Tip-Off Tournament, where Pitt-Greensburg earned a 60-47 victory.
