Women's Bowling Host Bobcat Classic

GREENSBURG, PA—The Bobcats were back inside Hillview Lanes on Saturday as they and five other teams competed in the Traditional Format of the Bobcat Classic, hosted by the Pitt-Greensburg Bowling team. The Bobcats went 2-3 on the day, defeating Penn State Behrend and La Roche. Four bowlers were in the top 15, and Kayla Gaughan led the way in the top ten.
 
The Bobcats finished day one of the competition in fourth place with a total pinfall of 3,986 and a 159.4 average. Saint Vincent finished the day in the top position, as they took down 4,507 pins. The Bobcat's high pinfall for the day came against Penn State Behrend as they took down 844 pins.
 
All three Bobcat seniors finished in the top 15. Gaughan placed eighth with a 172.60 average and a high game of 201. Beatrice Cook finished No. 13 with a 162.40 average and a high game of 197, and Erica Moss finished No. 14 with a 161.00 average and a high of 186.
 
The Bobcats will finish the competition by competing in five baker matches on Sunday inside Hillview Lanes. The winner will be determined by total pinfall.
