The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg women's volleyball team closed out play at the Kilt Classic on Saturday morning, falling in straight sets to Westminster (PA) by scores of 25-13, 25-6, and 25-11 inside Timken Gymnasium.
The Bobcats (1-10) were led offensively by Paige Phillips and Abigail Smulik, who each tallied five kills on the match. Phillips hit .200 while also adding one service ace, and Smulik chipped in five digs on the defensive end. Mia Stohon contributed three kills, while Racey Scheuerman added three kills and two digs.
Gianna Monzo paced the Pitt-Greensburg attack with seven assists to go along with one service ace. Lilly Buckles also provided nine assists and collected five digs, while Emily Hernandez anchored the back row with a team-high six digs.
The Bobcats return home Wednesday to take on Bethany, scheduled for 6pm.
