Pitt-Greensburg men's basketball delivered a commanding performance on Monday night, rolling past Mount Aloysius 96-59 at Chambers Hall to improve to 13-2 overall and 5-1 in AMCC play.

The Bobcats set the tone early, opening the game with a three-pointer from Ty Keffer just 17 seconds in. Michael Bigley followed with another triple moments later, and Pitt-Greensburg never looked back. Trent Rozich was unstoppable, going a perfect 9-for-9 from the field and finishing with a game-high 21 points, while also dishing out seven assists.

After Mount Aloysius briefly tied the game at 3-3, Pitt-Greensburg responded with a 12-2 run fueled by Keffer's jumper and back-to-back threes from Tony Martin and Rozich. By the midway point of the first half, the Bobcats had stretched the lead to double digits, highlighted by a thunderous dunk from Justin Pierre-Paul off an offensive rebound that made it 29-20. Pitt-Greensburg closed the half on a surge, with Rozich drilling a three and Bigley scoring at the buzzer to give the Bobcats a 54-34 advantage at the break.

The second half was all Pitt-Greensburg. Matthew Marinchak opened the frame with two free throws, and the Bobcats quickly pushed the margin past 20. A fast-break dunk by Rozich at 15:21 ignited the crowd and capped a sequence of steals and transition buckets that put the game out of reach. Martin added back-to-back layups off turnovers, and Pitt-Greensburg's bench contributed 28 points as the lead ballooned to 37 in the closing minutes.

Keffer finished with 12 points and five rebounds, while Bigley added 13 points and four boards. Jackson Byer was a force inside, scoring 14 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Pitt-Greensburg shot an impressive 60.7% from the field and 93.3% from the free-throw line, while holding Mount Aloysius to 37.3% shooting.

The Bobcats dominated the paint with 54 points and turned 14 Mount Aloysius turnovers into 14 points. Pitt-Greensburg also controlled the glass, outrebounding the Mounties 38-27.

Pitt-Greensburg returns to action Saturday as they play host to Hilbert with a 3PM tip.
