The Pitt-Greensburg men's tennis team continued spring competition on Tuesday afternoon, falling 7–0 to Geneva College in non‑conference play. The Bobcats battled through several competitive moments but were unable to break through against a strong Golden Tornadoes lineup.
Doubles
Geneva claimed all three doubles courts to secure the opening point.
- Opal/Schiffhauer dropped their match at No. 1, 6–0.
- Cole/Vogel fell 6–0 at No. 2 doubles.
- Norris/Cipcic were defeated 6–0 at the No. 3 position.
Singles
In singles play, the Bobcats continued to push but Geneva closed out each court to sweep the lineup.
- At No. 1, Michael Opal dropped a 6–0, 6–0 decision.
- Ryan Cole (No. 2) also fell 6–0, 6–0.
- Jack Schiffhauer (No. 3) picked up four games in the second set but came up short, 6–0, 6–4.
- At No. 4, Jack Norris was defeated 6–0, 6–1.
- Sam Vogel (No. 5) dropped his match 6–0, 6–0.
- Daniel Cipcic earned the team's only game of the first set at No. 6, ultimately falling 6–1, 6–0.
The team returns to the courts March 13th as they take on Saint Vincent.
