The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg men's soccer team has been selected to finish fourth in the 2026 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) preseason coaches' poll, as announced by the conference on Monday.
The Bobcats received the fourth spot in the preseason rankings after finishing fifth in the AMCC regular-season standings in 2025. Pitt-Greensburg posted a 4-2-2 record in conference play and finished the season with a 7-7-5 overall mark.
Penn State Behrend was selected as the preseason favorite, followed by Mount Aloysius College and La Roche University. Hilbert College rounded out the top five.
Pitt-Greensburg returns a pair of key players highlighted among the conference's Players to Watch, led by senior forward Matt Armenio. A North Versailles, Pa., native and East Allegheny High School graduate, Armenio earned first team All-AMCC honors in 2025 after leading the Bobcats with seven goals and 15 points. The upcoming season will mark his fourth year earning all-conference recognition.
Junior midfielder Cam Loveland also returns after earning second team All-AMCC honors last season. The South Park Township, Pa., native contributed one goal and two assists during the 2025 campaign and will provide another experienced presence in the Bobcats' midfield.
Pitt-Greensburg enters the 2026 season under eighth-year head coach Marc Bucci. The Bobcats will look to build on last season's strong conference showing and make a push toward the top of the AMCC standings.
