The Pitt-Greensburg women's tennis team continued its early-season road swing on September 12th, playing against the Lions at Westwood Raquet Club.  

At No. 1 doubles Gabi Moder and Nancy Jiang fell 6-2, while at No. 2 match Jazzy Cherry and Jessica Garcia battled it out but came short at 6-1. Finally for the Lions to get the doubles sweep, at No. 3 Emily Spino and Jenna Eutsey lost 6-0.  

The Bobcats head into singles matches with a hard-fought sweep from the Lions but continue to gain valuable experience and motivation.  

At singles No.1 Gabi Moder took Jana Kamel to the courts, and fell 6-1, 6-0. Nancy Jiang at No. 2 played against Enisa Silijkovic and lost 6-1, 6-1, while at No. 3 Jazzy Cherry battled with Lexa Maloney losing 6-0, 6-3. Singles No. 4 was Jessica Garcia against Lindsey Kerlin carried by the Lion 6-0, 6-0, and No. 5 Audrey Johnson head-to-head with Elizabeth Anthony with a loss 6-1, 6-0. To end out the singles at No.6 was Emily Spino losing to Triss Righi 6-0, 6-1.  

Despite the tough loss they hope to bounce back into action September 14th at Mount Aloysius College.
