The Pitt-Greensburg men's tennis team battled Saint Vincent College on Sunday afternoon at the Greensburg Racquet Club, with the Bearcats earning a 7-0 victory over the Bobcats.
Saint Vincent opened the match by taking all three doubles matches to take first tea point. At No. 1 Jack Schiffhauer and Ryan Cole fell 6-2 to Bukovac and Yokopenic. Jack Norris and Mason Wolf also dropped o. 2 doubles match, 6-2 against Johnson and Allen. At No. 3 doubles were Sam Vogel and Mitchell Demoise who were defeated, 6-0 by Hinkson and Lee.
At No. 1 singles, Jack Schiffhauer fell to Bukovac, 6-2, 6-0, while Ryan Cole dropped a 6-1, 6-0 decision to Yokopenic at No. 2. Jack Norris battled No. 3 singles before falling to Allen, 6-0, 6-1. Mason Wolf took a loss against Johnson, 6-1, 6-3 at No. 4. Sam Vogel competed in No. 5 singles, falling to Lee, 6-2, 6-1. Lastly, at No. 6 singles was Daniel Cipcic who lost 6-1, 6-0, against Hinkson.
