Bobcats Offense Explodes, Defeat Bradford in AMCC Game of the Week

BRADFORD, PA – Six Bobcats, including all five starters, scored in double-figures led by Matt Johnson who dropped 20 in a 104-95 AMCC win over the Panthers of Pitt-Bradford. Pitt-Greensburg eclipsed the century mark for the first time this season in what was deemed the AMCC Game of the Week.
 
Johnson was the Bobcats leading scorer with Micah Jones not far behind. Jones scored 19 points and secured seven rebounds and seated away three blocks. JoJo France and Lukas Swartz recorded 16 points while Reggie Priah and Jaylen Williams dropped 11 points.
 
Overall, the Bobcats shot over 50 percent from the floor and 86 percent from the charity stripe. The team turned defense into offense scoring 20 points off 17 Panther turnovers. Pitt Greensburg also had 38 points in the paint and a strong showing from the bench with 27 points coming from the reserves.
 
For Bradford, Nathan Schneider scored a game-high 28 points and controlled 14 rebounds. The Panthers were able to control the paint while scoring 54 points close to the basket.
 
The Bobcats will be in action again on Monday when they host the Barons of Franciscan. Tip-off will be at 2 pm in Chambers Hall. Bobcat senior JoJo France is going into the game two points away from the 1,000 point milestone.
