Jones Drops Season-High 16 Points; Bobcats fall to La Roche

PITTSBURGH – The Bobcat Men's Basketball Team traveled to La Roche to play in its first road AMCC game of the season on Wednesday night. The Bobcats dropped the game to the Redhawks 93-80, evening the team's AMCC record at 1-1.
 
The Bobcats had a season best performance from the bench, with the reserves contributing 34 points. The team was led by Micah Jones who had a team-high 16 points while coming off the bench. Likas Swartz also had 11 points off the bench.
 
Pitt-Greensburg also had 38 points in the paint, led by forward Reggie Priah who had 15 points on 7-9 shooting. Priah also had eight rebounds and two assists in the game. JoJo France, the Bobcats leading scorer on the season, netted 14 points, including three baskets from behind the arc. Matt Johnson contributed nine points and six rebounds while Jaylen Williams had eight points and seven rebounds. Johnson and France led Pitt-Greensburg in minutes played with 32.
La Roche was led by Devon Darrell who scored a game-high 24 points. Darrell also had seven assists five rebounds and two steals. In total, the Redhawks had five players score in double-figures. La Roche was able to convert 19 points off 16 Bobcat turnovers.
 
Pitt Greensburg will be off until December 18th when they travel to Bradford, PA to take on the Panthers of Pitt-Bradford.
