Priah's Big Game Leads Bobcats Over Panthers

GREENSBURG, PA – The Bobcat men's basketball team extended its AMCC win streak to four games behind a Reggie Priah 22-point, 11 rebound double-double, as well as 22 points from JoJo France. The Bobcats went on a 20-2 run to erase a ten-point deficit in the second half in an electric Chambers Hall Gymnasium to improve to 7-5 in the AMCC.

Priah and France tied for the game high in points, while Matt Johnson wasn't far behind with 19 points of his own, sinking four triples in the process. Jaylen Williams was also in double-figures scoring 14 points while continuing to hound his opponents on defense, securing three steals. Micah Jones continued his strong week, securing 12 rebounds while netting nine points.

All three of the Bobcat starters played over 30 minutes in the game, with France leading the way with 37 minutes played. Priah recorded a plus-26 in his near 30 minutes on the court sparking the Bobcats on the offensive and defensive ends.

The Panthers of Bradford were able to shoot 56 percent from the field and 62.5 percent from behind the arc but were not able to get stops on the other end. Bradford took it largest lead of ten points with 11:50 left in the second half. Pitt-Greensburg was able to flip that on the Panthers, taking a 15-point lead with less a minute left in the game.

The Bobcats will be away from Chambers Hall next week, taking on Penn State-Altoona on Wednesday and Medaille on Saturday. Pitt-Greensburg will be back in Chambers Hall on Feb. 16 when Mount Aloysius comes to campus.
