Bobcats Fall to Royals in Offensive Explosion

Box Score AUBURNDALE, FL- The Pitt-Greensburg baseball team suffered a tough loss to the hands of the Royals of Eastern Mennonite today, dropping the contest 20-9. In the game, Ben Aftanas went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBI, continuing his hot start for the Bobcats. Also having multi hit games for the Bobcats were James Domer, Jace Cappellini and Neo Miller. Cappellini and Domer both had two RBI as well.
 
The Bobcats pitching struggled, giving 12 earned runs as a staff, the most they have given up yet this season. Diego Santos had the lone extra base hit for Pitt-Greensburg on the day with a double. Unlike the Royals, the Bobcats had to earn every run they scored as seven of their nine runs were credited as earned runs.
 
Six Royals had extra base hits in the game. The Bobcats will take on the Lions of PS Brandywine tomorrow in a double header. These will be the last two games of the team's spring trip. First pitch of game one will be at 9:30 am.
