Pitt-Greensburg Athletics Announces Josiah Ferenczy as Head Tennis Coach

GREENSBURG: The Pitt-Greensburg Department of Athletics is happy to announce Josiah Ferenczy as the new head coach of Bobcat men's and women's tennis. Ferenczy takes over after spending the last three seasons as an assistant coach.
 
Josiah has been an important part of the Bobcats AMCC dominance the last three years, joining the team in 2021 and now earning his promotion in 2024. The Bobcats have been AMCC regular season and conference champions each of the last three seasons, while also earning a berth to the NCAA Tournament in each of those seasons.
 
"Having witnessed firsthand the hard work, drive, and dedication of the Men's and Women's Tennis Teams over the past three years, I am profoundly excited to take on this new role as Head Coach. My goal is to provide a competitive, uplifting, challenging atmosphere where student-athletes can flourish; and I look forward to seeing how the season unfolds," Said Ferenczy
 
Director of Athletics Jeromy Yetter is also happy about Ferenczy taking over the programs. ""I am excited to announce Josiah as our next head coach of our men's and women's teams. Josiah has been an integral part of our success over the last several seasons and I look forward to watching him continue to try and grow our programs."
 
 
The women's team will begin its season on Sept. 20 in Steubenville as the Bobcats will take on he Barons.
