Volleyball Swept in Kenyon Tri-Match

GAMBLER, Ohio – The Pitt-Greensburg women's volleyball team was back on the court today, as they took on Kenyon and Franciscan in a tri-match hosted by Kenyon. The Bobcats dropped both of their matches 3-0.
 
Pitt-Greensburg was close in their match against Kenyon, falling 25-23, 25-21, and 25-18. The Bobcat offense was held in check, with Madison Friess having just seven kills to lead the Bobcats. Sophomore Mia Stohon led the team with four blocks, while Ashlynn Branan had a career-high three blocks.
 
The second match of the day was a rematch of the Bobcats 3-0 home-opening loss to Franciscan from just a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately, the Barons took control early and kept their foot on the pedal defeating the Bobcats in straight sets. Friess had 12 kills and 18 digs in the match.
 
The Bobcats will have yet another rematch in their next match, this time against Waynesburg on their home court. The Jackets defeated the Bobcats 3-1 on September 14.
