Baseball Has Four Recognized on All-Conference

NORTH BOSTON, NY – Pitt-Greensburg baseball had the most conference victories since 2019 and finished third in the AMCC Regular Season Standings. The Bobcats made it to the third day of the AMCC tournament. The team also had plenty of individual success, as shown in the All-AMCC teams released today.
 
James Domer was voted AMCC Player of the Year and First Team All-AMCC after a year in which he led the nation in Batting Average and led the conference in slugging percentage and home runs. This is the third consecutive season Domer was named All-Conference and the second time he was named first team.
 
Conner Burkey was named AMCC Pitcher of the Year and first team All-AMCC for the first time in his career. Burkey, a sophomore, led Division III in Complete Games (8) and was tied for the conference lead in wins (8). Burkey led the AMCC in conference wins and complete games with six each.
 
Thomas Smith rounds out the Bobcats named to the first team. Smith earned this distinction for the first time in his collegiate career. Tommy was second in the conference in slugging percentage and RBI while ranking third in home runs.
 
Hunter Gideons was named second team All-AMCC after having a career year at second base. Gideons batted .326 in conference play with 15 hits and nine RBI. This is his first time being named All-Conference.
