It was Pitt-Greensburg's day on the links this afternoon at Gowanda Country Club, as they brought home the gold and silver team and individual medals at the Hilbert Invitational.
Anthony Treonze was the low man on the day, shooting a 74. Teammate
Ethan Rice also shot a 74, but finished second due to the tiebreaker. Rounding out Team A,
Zachary Abdallah added a solid 76, while
Seth Tomalski carded a 76, and Nick Thomas rounded out the scoring with a 79. Team A finished in first place with a team round score of 300.
UPG Team B also put on a strong performance, finishing with a team round score of 322, good for 2nd place in the event.
Ben Thomas led the B squad with a 78, followed closely by
Cody Fennell at 78 and
Ryan McWilliams at 82.
Eli Armstrong posted an 84, and
Jayden Diehl added an 85 to complete the team's scoring.
