The Pitt-Greensburg golf team continued a string of success this fall with a second place finish at the Stateline Shootout in Hamilton, Ohio.
After Day 1 of competition, the team sat in 5th place, paced by
Anthony Treonze with a score of 74, placing in 8th individually.
Nicholas Thomas was just one stroke behind, thanks to an eagle on the 9th hole.
A strong Day 2 saw the team jump 3 spots in the leaderboard to finish 2nd out of 16 teams. In round 2, the Bobcats were lead by
Ethan Rice, who shot a +1 73 and Treonze with a +2 74. The team scores were rounded out by
Zachary Abdallah (75) and
Seth Tomalski (77).
Pitt-Greensburg Team B finished the event in 9th place.
A packed stretch of golf continues today as the team heads to Grove City for the Fall Invitational.
