The Pitt-Greensburg men's golf team turned in a strong performance at the Sinking Valley Collegiate Classic on Monday, finishing fourth out of 20 teams with a two-day total of 613 (308-305) at Sinking Valley Country Club.
Leading the way for the Bobcats was Nicholas Thomas, who carded a 153 (+13) to tie for 14th place overall. After a challenging opening round 80, Thomas bounced back with an impressive 73 in Round 2, tying for the lowest round of the day among Pitt-Greensburg golfers.
Ethan Rice followed closely behind, tying for 21st with a 154 (+14), shooting rounds of 76 and 78. Anthony Treonze and Zachary Abdallah each posted a 155 (+15) to tie for 25th, while Seth Tomalski rounded out the A team scoring with a 156 (+16), tying for 31st.
The Pitt-Greensburg B team also competed, finishing 18th with a team score of 674 (338-336). Benjamin Thomas led the B squad with a 157 (+17), highlighted by a second-round 74 that helped him tie for 34th overall. Ryan McWilliams and Jayden Diehl each shot 172 (+32), while Lucas Judy added a 177 (+37) and Codi Fennell finished with a 181 (+41).
