Golf Takes 2nd in AMCC Tournament

The Pitt-Greensburg men's golf team delivered a strong performance at the 2025 AMCC Championships, finishing second overall at Toftrees Golf Resort with a team score of 624 (318-306), just behind Mount Aloysius.

Leading the way for the Bobcats were Anthony Treonze and Zachary Abdallah, who both tied for sixth individually with scores of 154 (+10). Treonze carded rounds of 79 and 75, while Abdallah posted 78 and 76.

Also contributing to the team's success were Ethan Rice and Nicholas Thomas, each finishing tied for 12th with totals of 158 (+14). Rice shot 80 in the opening round and improved to 78 in round two, while Thomas followed up an 81 with a 77.

Seth Tomalski rounded out the scoring for Pitt-Greensburg, placing tied for 17th with a 164 (+20), including rounds of 84 and 80.

Mount Aloysius claimed the team title with a score of 613, led by medalist Josh Nicholl's 147 (+3). 

With the AMCC tournament completed, Pitt-Greensburg's season will continue Oct 20-21 as they head to Port Clinton OH for the Region V Showcase.
