Pitt-Greensburg faced a tough road test on Saturday, dropping both ends of an AMCC doubleheader to Penn State Altoona at the Adler Tennis Courts.
Game 1 – Penn State Altoona 7, Pitt-Greensburg 0
Pitt-Greensburg opened the afternoon looking to set the tone in doubles play, but Altoona claimed all three matches to secure the early advantage. The closest contest came at No. 2 doubles, where Jack Norris and Jack Schiffhauer battled to a 6-4 decision before coming up just short.
In singles action, the Bobcats continued to compete across the lineup. Schiffhauer delivered a strong opening set at No. 2 singles, pushing his opponent in a tight 7-5 set before falling 6-2 in the second. Michael Opal also showed resilience at the top spot, fighting through a 6-3 first set.
Despite the effort, Altoona maintained control throughout singles play, winning all six matches in straight sets to secure the sweep.

In the second match of the day, Pitt-Greensburg once again looked to find momentum in doubles. The pairing of Michael Opal and Jack Norris produced the team's most competitive result, falling 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
Moving into singles, the Bobcats continued to battle against a deep Altoona lineup. Daniel Cipcic highlighted the effort at No. 6 singles, putting together a competitive 6-4 opening set before Altoona pulled away in the second.
Across the remaining flights, Pitt-Greensburg fought through long rallies and tough points, but Altoona's consistency proved decisive, as the hosts completed another 7-0 victory.
