The Bobcats enter their second season under head coach Holly Saville after finishing the 2025 campaign with a 2-26 overall record and an 0-8 mark in AMCC play. Pitt-Greensburg finished ninth in the conference regular-season standings a year ago and moves into the eighth spot in this year's preseason poll.

Pitt-Greensburg will look to take a step forward in 2026 behind a pair of returning players highlighted by the conference as Players to Watch: sophomore setter Lilly Buckles and senior outside hitter/middle blocker Mia Stohon.

Buckles returns after seeing extensive action during her freshman campaign, appearing in 111 sets while recording 400 assists, 200 digs and 17 service aces. 

Stohon provides another experienced presence for the Bobcats after playing in 106 sets last season. The Cranberry Township native and Seneca Valley graduate totaled 179 kills and 206 points while hitting .198 and adding 29 total blocks. Stohon was also recognized by the coaching staff for her work ethic and attitude.

Penn State Behrend was selected as the preseason favorite to win the AMCC championship, followed by Penn State Altoona in second and Mount Aloysius College in third. Pitt-Bradford, Hilbert College, La Roche University and Carlow University occupy spots four through seven, respectively, with Pitt-Greensburg rounding out the eight-team poll.

Behrend junior outside hitter Cadence Jones was selected as the AMCC Preseason Player of the Year. A two-time first-team All-AMCC selection, Jones ranked second in the conference last season with 444 kills, 4.23 kills per set and a .282 hitting percentage.
