MBB Preview: Bobcats at Seton Hill

Matchup: Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats (5-0) vs. Seton Hill Griffins (4-0)
Date/Time: November 25, 2:30 PM
Location: Katherine Mabis McKenna Center

The Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats will make the short three-mile trip across Greensburg on Tuesday afternoon to face Seton Hill in an exhibition matchup that highlights the closeness of these two programs. While separated by just a few minutes, the teams compete in different NCAA divisions—Pitt-Greensburg in Division III and Seton Hill in Division II—making this a unique local showdown.

The Bobcats enter the contest with a perfect 5-0 record, most recently rolling past Hiram 97-71 at home on Saturday. Pitt-Greensburg showcased its depth in that win, with five players scoring in double figures. On the season, the Bobcats have leaned on the trio of Jackson Byer, Matt Marinchak, and Trent Rozich, who have been consistent offensive leaders.

Seton Hill also comes in unbeaten at 4-0 after an 81-70 victory over West Virginia Wesleyan. The Griffins are led by Kedrick Curtis (18.0 PPG) and Edir Ortiz (17.5 PPG), a dynamic duo that has fueled their early success.

This matchup is an exhibition for Pitt-Greensburg, but it offers a valuable test against a higher-division opponent and a chance to measure themselves against a local rival. The two teams met in a similar exhibition last season, with Seton Hill earning an 84-62 win.
