The College Sports Communicators have announced the 2025 Soccer Academic All-District Teams. The Bobcats have placed three athletes on these teams. Awardees from Women's Soccer are
Bella Carroto and
Sarah Folmer, joined by Men's Soccer athlete
Cam Loveland.
The CSC All-District teams are nominated and selected by members of the College Sports Communicators association and is designed to recognize student-athletes for their achievements both on and off the field. Criteria include a minimum 3.5 GPA and community service involvement, along with athletic contributions.
Bella Carotto led the Bobcats this season in goals and points, landing her 2nd team all-AMCC. Along with her on field performance, she maintains a 3.95 GPA while majoring in Biology. In the community, Bella has participated in Blackburn Center's Walk a Mile in Their Shoes to bring awareness to Domestic Violence Victims, adopt-a-family for the holidays, and Pitt-Greensburg's Spring into the Streets campaign.
Sarah Folmer has been a 4 year AMCC All-Academic while at Pitt-Greensburg. This season, Sarah appeared in all 21 games and scored 4 goals. In the classroom, she has maintained a 3.55 GPA while studying physical therapy. In the community, Sarah has participated in Blackburn Center's Walk a Mile in Their Shoes to bring awareness to Domestic Violence Victims for three years, adopt-a-family for the holidays, and Pitt-Greensburg's Spring into the Streets campaign.
Cam Loveland had a great season on the field, leading to 2nd team all-AMCC honors. In the classroom, Cam is enrolled in the Frederick Honors College and maintains a 3.90 GPA majoring in Data Analytics. In the community, Cam is a volunteer coach for youth soccer camps, assists with the Melanoma 5k walk, and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity.
Along with being named to the All-District teams, all three student-athletes have been selected for inclusion on the Academic All-Americ ballot. These teams include student-athletes from across the country and will be announced in December.
